With the success of Mario’s Pizza, the brothers opened a Hickory pizza restaurant named Tony’s. Over the years, Tony’s has grown to include several other pizzerias in the Charlotte area.

We Make Pizza The Old Fashioned Way

Although many pizzerias exist, they don’t all make pizza the same way. Some restaurants roll or stretch the dough rather than hand toss it. Others may bake their pies in a conveyor belt oven using metal pans.  All these differences can add up to a less than flavorful experience.

However, Tony’s Pizza continues the traditional methods the brothers learned while growing up. To produce the perfect pizza, we know every step matters from mixing to kneading and proofing. Of course, we bake our pies the old-fashioned way, on the floor of the oven.
